Monarch butterfly caught in flight ready to investigate a flower

One thing about photography is the amazing opportunities it gives to explore life. It truly opens up your eyes to all the magic the world can give. This picture is a perfect example of that. This beautiful monarch butterfly was fluttering through the wildflower meadow looking at what to pollinate. I was very lucky to catch this one in flight and get as much detail as it has. I really love to see the white dots on his body and the colors on his wings. It's really cute to me to see how his legs are just hanging down. This picture was taken in the East Coventry township nature preserve outside of Pottstown in Pennsylvania.
