| The ââ¬Åcovered stairwayââ¬Â also known as the ââ¬Åpupilââ¬â¢s stairwayââ¬Â was built in 1662 to protect the pupils on their way to and from school. Initially it had 300 stone steps but after the 1849 restoration there were only 175 left. It leads up to the Church on the Hill and the cemetery. |
