| This is an early Spring picture of a male Grevyââ¬â¢s Zebra in its compound at the Lincoln Park Zoo located in Chicago, Illinois in Cook County. The Grevyââ¬â¢s Zebra is the largest living wild equid and the largest and most threatened of the three species of Zebras. Their stripes do not extend to the belly area, they have a mule shaped head, their mane is tall, stands erect, and extends the length of the body. This picture was taken on March 22, 2018. |
