Mahonia aquifolium or the Oregon grape is an evergreen shrub that grows up to a meter high and up to 1.5 meters wide. The branches are erect. The leaves are arranged alternately and lichopernate. It is a shade-loving species, yet it thrives without problems even in partial shade and in the sun. |
