The fireplace and mantel in the Long gallery, the grandest room in Croome Court, Worcestershire, England. All of the room and fittings including the marble fireplace and mantelpiece were designed by the architect Robert Adam in 1760 and is said to be his first ever complete room design. Historic Croome Court, a Neo-Palladian designed house redesigned by `Capability` Brown for the 6th Earl of Coventry c1751.
