| The Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II, also known as JSF or Joint Strike Fighter visited Holland in 2016. It was the first time this aircraft could be seem outside the USA. It was displayed during the Luchtmachtdagen at Leeuwarden AFB. On this photo it is about to break the sound barrier which gives the spectacular Prandtl-Glauert Singularity effect whch is visible as a vapor cone. |
