| Llyn Ogwen is a lake in North west wales. It lies alongside the A5 road and is between two mountain ranges, the carneddau and the Glyderau. Originally a natural lake however in the late 20th century a small dam was built to raise the level slightly to provide water for the local Penrhyn quarry |
