Little Egret Scientific name: Egretta garzetta: 52-68 cm in length, a medium-sized wading bird with a thin body and white body. The eyes first have pink skin in summer and yellow-green in winter. During the reproductive period, there are two long feathers on the pillow, like double braids. Spear-shaped feathers are also clustered on the chest, but there is no pillow crown. The tips of the dorsal feathers on the back are slightly curled upward. After the reproductive period, both crown feathers and demoiselles fall off. The eyes are yellow, the mouth is black, the base of the lower mouth is pale, the naked skin is gray, the feet and legs are black, and the toes are often mixed with yellow.
