| This is a Winter picture of the iconic Lake Point Tower shrouded in Fog, located in the Streeterville. Eighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The structure designed by the architects Schipporeit and Heinrich, was inspired by Miles van der Rohe`s skyscraper in Berlin, Germany, it stands 645 feet high, it was the first all-electric high rise residential building in the world, and construction began in 1965 and was completed in 1968. This picture was taken on January 22, 2017. |
