Kyoto, the beautiful architecture of Fushimiinari Taisha ShrineTemple in Kyoto, Japan. The origins date back to the 8th century and were described in the Yamashirokoku Fudoki, an ancient account presented to the Emperor about the geography and traditions of the place. One of the stories reported in it is that of an ancestor of the Hata family who shot a rice cake. From the explosion of the cake, a swan was born that landed on the hill, where the rice grew prosperously. The shrine stands on this very spot in fact, the word 'ina' in Japanese means 'rice'.
