Winter view of Krivan (alt. 2494 meters), Kratka (alt. 2374 meters) and Ostra (alt. 2350 meters) peaks during clear day. These peaks are part of Slovak High Tatra mountain range and they dominate the upper part of the Liptov region. Krivan, Kratka and Ostra peaks belong to High Tatras national park (Tatransky narodny park) TANAP. Various surveys among hikers and recreational tourists have ranked Krivan as the Slovak country's most popular peak. Krivan peak is also famous national symbol in Slovakia. High Tatra mountains are visited by tourists during all seasons.
