Repeated prototype, rear axle, front engine. The car body was developed by BAZ (Bratislava Automotive Works). After finishing development of the 720 in Mladá Boleslav, the development project continued in the BAZ VMV (BAZ Small Car Development Department). The Slovak "720-ers" are better known by their internal codes 731 (sedan! or 732 (estate). The 731 Standard version has a 2-eyed front grill, while the de Luxe version features a 4-eyed grill.
