âowacki Theatre in Cracow was erected in 1893. Designed by Jan Zawiejski, the theatre was erected on Holy Ghost Square in place of the former 14th century church. The building is decorated in an eclectic style with a predominance of neo-Baroque. The monument to Aleksander Fredro is featured in front of the Slowacki Theatre, near the Planty Park. It was made by Professor Cyprian Godebski in 1900. |
