| From its inception in 1870,Golden Gate Park in San Francisco has become famous,and not so famous for many things,like the art and science museums,Japanese Tea Garden and the Botanical Garden. The newest addition to the fun is the JFK Promenade,from its entrance on Stanyan Street down to Crossover Drive. This stretch is now permanently closed to private car use,allowing local artists to paint the road itself,or put up permanent sculptor displays. Along the mid section of this the city has ping pong tables freely available,and unique chairs to try and take a spin on. As enjoyed 21 May 2023. |
