Paul Jennewein 1890-1978, a German-born American sculptor. Small bronze griffon adorn each corner and bronze gazelles adorn the center. The griffon is the symbol of the Philadelphia Museum of art, with bronze castings of them perched on each corner of the museum`s roof, protecting it`s collection. |
