| This is a Winter picture of the Iowa State Capitol Building located in Des Moines, Iowa. The structure was designed by John C. Cochran and Alfred H. Piquenard, it is an e ample of the Renaissance style of architecture, the cornerstone was laid on November 23, 1871 and was not complete until 1886. The Courthouse was added to the National Register of Hostoric Places on October 21, 1976. This picture was taken on February ðŸËâ¦3, 2017. |
