The Cathedral Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Zagreb is the cathedral of the Serbian Orthodox Church SPC in the center of Zagreb on the Square of Peter Preradovic. The Cathedral is a cathedral for the Metropolitanate of Zagreb and Ljubljana. It was built in 1866 according to the design of the Croatian architect Franjo Klein. It was rebuilt in 1883-1884. according to the plans of architect Herman Bollé. Then the current historicist iconostasis with icons made by painter Epaminondas Bučevski, originating from Černovci in Bukovina, were placed in it. Bollé will restore the Church of the Transfiguration in two more occasions - in 1899, when a new hinge cap was placed on it and in 1913-1914. when she completely changed her faces.
