| The Hydrangea macrophylla is native to Japan, with large heads of blue or pink flowers in summer to autumn.
The flowers colors can be a factor of the soil PH balance. The more alkaline the soil, the more pink the flower; the more acidic, the more blue.
The leaves are being studied, and used, for medical uses for anti inflammations to diabetes. It is also a good, widely used decorative plant, as it has a low flammabilities point, in cases of fires. |
