This is paddle pulled rikshaw. This rikshaw is fully manually operated by man. People are used to carry heavy materials by this type of rikshaw in overcrowded street. To pull this rikshaw need huge body power and effort. This type of man pulled rikshaws are very much available in Kolkata still now. Horse and elephant idols represent the huge effort or power to pull the rikshaw. This is pure street story of kolkata. I am very lucky to get this frame while passing through the footpath of Kolkata.
