| A member of the 78th Fraser Highlanders Honour Guard marches in the regiment's historical uniform and carries a musket during the St. Patrick's Day parade in Vancouver, British Columbia. While the non-Irish group's participation is in keeping with the multi-cultural spirit of Vancouver, the parade is also a part of the larger five day Celtic Fest celebration, which has a Scottish contingent. The procession travelled down Howe St., to a crowd of thousands, on Sunday March 18th, 2012. |
