Hong Kongs signature glow might be neon but during the Mid-Autumn Festival lanterns reprise their age-old role as the citys favourite form of light. This year, Hong Kong is pulling out all the stops with Lee Kee Lantern Wonderland in Victoria Park. Drop by to gape at the centrepiece of the 2011 celebrations -- a lantern so big it is going for a Guinness World Record ââ¬â and hang around to enjoy the other carnival capers in the park. The worlds largest sculpture made from lanterns measures (L)37m x (D)9.6m x (H)13m and was created by William Lim (Hong Kong) for the Hong Kong Tourism Board and Lee Kun Kee Co. Ltd. The lantern was unveiled in Hong Kong, China on 3 Sep 2011.
