This event, called Ã¢â¬ÅPalioÃ¢â¬Â, is an historic parade across the historic centre of Vigevano. The 12 teams, representing the 12 different quarters of th etown, compete then in the courtyard of the castle. The final price is the Palio itself, a painting, which is painted by local artists. This is the 28th year of this historic recalling which is held in May and October. In May the competition is held by the children, in October by the adults.
