A photograph of the oldest surviving fire station in the island country, Singapore. This building is completed in 1909 and has been gazetted as National Monument since 1998. The building is designed by William Ferguson in the Edwardian England style with red and white brickwork. These colours often nicknamed as blood and bandage. It is still an active fire station today, as well as a museum gallery that showcases the firefighting history of Singapore. Today, the building has become one of the famous landmark of the country.
