Hadlock Falls is the highest in Acadia National Park. In spring the water pours down a high rock onto a jumble of angular rocks. By midsummer the falls is but a trickle. The granite mountains of Acadia don`t hold water very well, so most of it brooks in the park nearly or completely dry up during the summer. At the moment I took the image, wasn`t a lot of water, but still very pretty.
