The Anglican St. George's Cathedral - now a National Monument -, was designed by Sir Arthur Blomfield. It was opened on August 24, 1892 and completed in 1899. At a height of 43.5 metres (143 ft) it is one of the tallest wooden churches in the world. The church has a central tower and the Latin cross formation of nave and transepts. It was built in the Gothic style of architecture, complete with flying buttresses. It is located on Church Street (Info taken from WIkipedia).
