Philippines, island of Luzon: Filipino children, boys and girls, stand on the railroad, which is running through their neighborhood in the impoverished slum Packwood in Tunasan, a suburb of the city, capital of Manila. The people live here close together and on their street it is buzzing. Adults and children swarm together. The group of young people having a birthday party, but the poverty is so great that they can not buy garlands. Therefore they themselves made garlands of colored plastic bags.
