| This is a Fall picture of the inland side of the Grosse Point Lighthouse on Lake Michigan is located in Evanston, Illinois in Cook County. The Lighthouse was designed by Orlando Metcalf Poe, is an example of Italianate architecture, and was built in 1873. The lighthouse Was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 8, 1976 and declared a National Landmark on January 20, 1999. This picture was taken on October 31, 2016. |
