Tall 6`-3, handsome, Oscar-winning film and stage actor, Gregory Peck, widely remembered for his Oscar-winning performance playing the role of 'Atticus Finch' in Harper Lee`s `To Kill A Mockingbird,` is seen at a Los Angeles gathering in October, 1980. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Lyndon Johnson in 1969. Always dapper, Peck was named to the International Best Dressed List Hall Fame. An activist and liberal Democrat, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Lyndon Johnson in 1969. Peck died in Los Angeles in 2003 at the age of 87 from bronchopneumonia.
