| Friday night, September 19, 2025, at Forest Park after sunset the hot air balloons began to inflate for the Balloon Glow. This annual event features about 50 hot air balloons which glow brightly after dark. The setting sun lit up the sky with spectacular light with the first few balloons in the foreground. The balloons feature bright colors and immense size to rival the tallest nearby trees. The balloon glow occurs on Friday night with the Hare and Hounds race on Saturday. Just a small portion of the thousands of spectators who flock around the balloons to admire the glow. |
