| Filling a hot air balloon with flame generated hot air. Friday night, September 19, 2025, at Forest Park near sunset the hot air balloons began to inflate for the Balloon Glow. This annual event features about 50 hot air balloons which glow brightly after dark. The setting sun lit up the sky with spectacular light with the first few balloons in the foreground. The balloons feature bright colors and immense size to rival the tallest nearby trees. The balloon glow occurs on Friday night with the Hafre and Hounds race on Saturday. |
