This is a Fall picture of the Archway entrance to the John J. Glessner House located in the Prairie Avenue Historic District located in Chicago, Illinois. The house was designed by Henry Hobson Richardson, is an example of Romanesque architecture, features this Braggville Granite foliage stylized arch, and was built in 1886. The structure was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 17, 1970 and declared a National Historic Landmark on January 7, 1976. This picture was taken on November 29, 2016.
