Glasgow University's towers built in the 1870s in the Gothic revival style, Glasgow, Scotland. The main buildings of the University of Glasgow were indeed constructed in the 1870s, with the Gilbert Scott Building opening in 1870. The University moved to its new Gilmorehill campus in that year. However, the iconic tower, which is now the University's most recognizable feature, was completed later, between 1887 and 1891.
