The Gardens by the Bay is a urban nature park within the Marina Bay district of Singapore, adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. Gardens by the Bay was part of the nation`s plans to transform its `Garden City` to a `City in a Garden`, with the aim of raising the quality of life by enhancing greenery and flora in the city. It has 18 Supertrees which are tree-like structures that dominate the Gardens` landscape. It has two domes, Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. Its Flower Dome is the largest glass greenhouse in the world. It features a changing display, the flower field, and eight other gardens that exhibit exotic flowers and plants from the Mediterranean and semi-arid regions from five different continents. The Cloud Forest is higher than Flower Dome but slightly smaller in size. It replicates the cool moist conditions found in tropical mountain regions in South-East Asia, Central- and South America. It features a `Cloud Mountain`, accessible by an elevator, and visitors will be able to descend the mountain via a circular path where a waterfall provides visitors with refreshing cool air.
