The Municipal Gallery of Art is located within the splendid scenery of the Public Gardens. The main neoclassical faÃÂ§ade was built in 1828, while the original block of the building, the first seat of the royal powder magazine, dates back to the end of the 1700s. At the beginning of the 1930s the building underwent new modifications to become a Gallery of Art. On that occasion, the work of setting up and adapting the building was entrusted to the designer from Cagliari Ubaldo Badas.
