This picture is taken inside the Great Hall in Frederiksborg slot (Castle). The Great Hall is the largest and most pompous room in the castle. It is the space in the building which more than any other is decorated to impress visitors and allies. Here a, lord , king or prince could gather people to assemble , organize celebrations and official representation . Frederiksborg Slot (Castle) was built as a royal residence for King Christian IV of Denmark-Norway in the early 17th century, replacing an older castle acquired by Frederick II and becoming the largest Renaissance residence in Scandinavia. The Castle was also one of the film locations in the American movie called The Prince and me from 2004.
