ITALY, ROME, OCTOBER, 28, 2014 - The Fountain of the Four Rivers is one of the most famous fountains in Rome. Located on the Piazza Navona in Rome, Italy.
It was built in 1648-1651 by the project of the architect Bernini. He prepared a draft of the fountain, which included placing around the obelisk statues of river gods of the main rivers of the four parts of the world the Nile, the Ganges, the Danube and La Plata. |
