Resting in its back feathers. Flamingo's are spotted on various Florida beaches after Hurricane Idalia. American Flamingo's are more numerous in Mexico and Cuba. The thinking is that they did come by hurricane, that the winds may have taken them a little bit more north than maybe they intended to go from the Yucatan. This bird likes the pond near a beach.
