Found this castle on the way back to Munich from Vienna, it’s really cool looking and has a ruin feel to it, so we stop and look, trying to visit the castle. But as it turns out, the castle is in repair, so it’s closed and we can’t get in, the ruined part holds true I guessed, lol~ The Castle is in the small town of Schönbühel-Aggsbach, it’s a very cute town with no sign of tourism at all, one main small road runs through a little hill that loop back and that’s it! With the Castle closed, there’s not even public parking anywhere! We park our car by the road and quickly snap some photos of the exterior of the castle and that’s all we can do. I really want to come back and visit this castle again after they are done with the renovation. It’s a bright and sunny day and the castle looks really nice against the blue sky.
