Euploea midamus is an insect belonging to the subfamily Satyrinae in the family Nymphalidae, also known as the White Spot Purple Spot Butterfly or the Illusionary Purple Spot Butterfly. The wingspan is 80 to 95 millimeters, with a black brown and purple blue luster on the wing surface. There are two rows of white spots on the outer edge of the ventral surface of the hind wing. Male butterflies have brown elongated markings on their forewings, with a slightly convex posterior edge, and female butterflies have concave posterior edges.
