The tunnel, harbor and estancia stay located east of Ushuaia, on the banks of the Beagle Channel. In its beginnings, a barrel factory operated there, which motivated its denomination. It is possible to access on foot or bicycle through a path of about 6 km that begins at the Piscicultura station beginning of the provincial route Nº30.
