| His is probably one of the most famous and most photographed castles in Scotland, it means Island of Donan, most recognized from its appearance in the film Highlander. Lieutenant Colonel John MacRae-Gilstrap rebuilt the castle as you see it today from it's ruins between 1912 and 1932. This castle sits in Loch Duich in the North of Scotland. |
