This is a Winter picture of the iconic Eastside of the Missouri State Capitol Building located in Jefferson City, Missouri in Cole County. This marble building was designed by the architects Tracy & Swartout, it is an example of Classical Revival architecture, this side of the building features a half round portico, and a grand staircase, it was completed in 1917. This building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 23, 1969. This picture was taken on February 18, 2018.
