Muang Sing is a historical archaeological park located in Sai Yok District, Kanchanaburi Province, by the Kwai Noi river, and marks the westernmost border of the former Khmer empire in Thailand. It protects the remains of two Khmer Mahayana Buddhist temples dating to the 12th and 14th centuries, built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII 1180 to 1219. |
