This is a Fall picture of Fabyan Windmill, an authentic Dutch Windmill located in Geneva, Illinois in Kane County. This wood Windmill was built by Lois Blackhaus and Fredrick Brockmann, German craftsmen, it is 68 feet in height, and it was constructed in the 1850’s. This Windmill was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 4, 1979, in 1980 it was selected to appear on a postage stamp honoring windmills in the USA. This picture was taken in September 27, 2017.
