Blue skies at Dunnet head lighthouse is one of 200 dotted around Scotlandââ¬â¢s wild coastline. It marks the most northerly point in Britain. Just 20 metres high but 105 metres above sea level. 2.35 miles from John Oââ¬â¢Groats and 6.75 miles across the Pentland Firth to Orkney. Operated by Northern lighthouse. Designed by Robert Stevenson and built in 1831. |
