A pair of Dung Beetles, pushing and pulling a ball of dung in Masai Mara, Kenya. One is likely to be male, the other, female. If that is the case, it will be the male pushing and the female simply riding on top. Having formed the ball, they will roll it to soft ground and bury it for either food storage, or as a breeding ball. |
