| " Water Castle - Tower Impaler " , which today takes his old age at General Candiano Popescu, number 6 , sector 4 of the capital , was built in 1906 as a water tower in the " National Exhibition " held in that year celebrating 40 years of the reign of King Carol I. It is small scale replica of the fortress Poenari Arges Gorges - built in the XVth century by Vlad Tepes ( Dracula ) , hence the name of the castle. |
