| Dernau is a wine making village in Ahr valley. Ahr valley is a wine region in the north of the Eifel at the edge of Rhineland-Palatinate. In 2021 the Ahrtal was struck by a huge flood with massive destruction. This picture shows the Ahr valley a year before with everything still in good shape. The vineyards showed their best autumn colors in November 2020. |
