Deck and holes for cannons of the old Swedish warship Vasa in its museum in Stockholm, Sweden. Vasa was ordered to be built by king Gustav II Adolph in 1628 to be the most powerful warship of his time. He sank on his first trip after covering 1600 meters. The instability and excessive weight of their bronze cannons were fatal. The remains of the imposing ship were recovered in 1961 and are on display in a museum in Stockholm |
