The Crawley Edge Boatshed sits on Matilda Bay, and was originally constructed in the early 1930s. It was designed for a pleasure craft, like sailing boats and rowing boats, that would have cruised the Swan River, past the Crawley baths and other boatsheds dotting the shoreline. It has changed hands several times, and after being refurbished in the early 2000s. it was re-launched by triple solo-circum navigator of the world, Jon Sanders, and single solo-circum navigator David Dicks. |
